The liger is a unique type of animal. It's the world largest cat known. This amazing crossbreed between a male lion and a female tiger is the hybrid Liger. Their history starts in the early years of 19th century in India which is an Asian country.
They are the biggest of all the big cats, growing to almost the lion and tigers combined size. They are maximum 10 feet long and their maximum weigh is about 320 kg which is equal to 705 lb.
